Resetting MC50, MC55, MC65, MC70, MC75
- Performing a Warm Boot - A warm boot restarts the device by closing all running programs.
- MC 55,65,70,75: Hold down the red Power button for approximately five seconds. As soon as the device starts to boot release the Power button.
- MC 50: Press the reset button on the back of the mobile computer with the stylus.
- Performing a Cold Boot - A cold boot also restarts the device, and also resets the clock, and also initializes some drivers. Data saved in flash memory or a memory card is not lost.
- MC 55,65,70,75: simultaneously press the red Power button and the W and C keys (1 and 9 keys).
- MC 50: Hold down the Power and right scan buttons, then press and release the reset button located below the battery release on the back of the mobile computer. Release the Power and right scan buttons
- Only do the below steps if a Brynka support tech instructs you to after sending you the proper files.
- IPL Loader for Clean Boot - A clean boot resets the device to factory defaults.
- MC 55,65,70,75: Do a cold boot, Immediately as soon as the device starts to boot (before the splash screen is visible), hold the upper right hand trigger key.
- MC 50: Press and hold the Power button and both Scan buttons, then press the Reset button. When the mobile computer resets into IPL, release the Power button and Scan buttons.
